Meet Jennie
Jennie earned her 500-hour comprehensive Pilates certification in 2011 under Jill Cassady of Pilates Technique and has been teaching in Los Angeles ever since. Dedicated to ongoing learning, she regularly attends workshops and takes weekly private lessons to continue deepening her practice.
In 2015–2016, Jennie completed the Complete Pilates Method training with Chris Robinson, where she developed an athletic and dynamic approach to teaching. She later expanded her expertise through the Pilates Professional Advanced Teacher Training (2021–2022) with Kathryn Ross-Nash, completing an additional 400 hours of intensive study. This advanced training gave her a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of the method—how each exercise and apparatus supports the development of a balanced, thoughtful, and personalized workout. Jennie also continues her education with regular trips to the East Coast to study with master teacher Kathi Ross-Nash.
Outside the studio, Jennie is passionate about animal welfare and community advocacy. She collaborates with local rescue networks to help shelter dogs find homes, participates in TNR (trap-neuter-return) efforts for feral cats and shares her home with two beloved senior dogs and a newly rescued cat. Over the years she has cared for three senior dogs, nurturing a special commitment to giving older animals a safe and loving place to thrive. She also enjoys reading widely, including memoirs, autobiographies, historical fiction and personal growth books, along with long walks and strength training to balance her Pilates practice.
